Which vaccines are covered in my provider's office?
Medicare Part B will pay for Influenza Vaccines, Pneumococcal Vaccines, Hep B Vaccines (for persons at increased risk of Hep B), and vaccines directly related to the treatment of an injury or direct exposure to a disease or condition, such as rabies or tetanus. All of these vaccines can be administered in your providers office and billed to your Medicare Part B.
Any other Vaccines required should be ordered by your provider and you should receive them at a pharmacy so that your Medicare Part D can cover the cost.
